London Day 1

London Day 1

Ello there mate!

Yesterday was our first day in London! Talia and I started the day off relatively early and headed to the train station in Benfleet. The train went right into London & then we took the underground (the tube, I should say) to get to our hotel which is close to King’s Cross Station so we’re close by for our train to Paris super early on Saturday morning. We checked into our hotel & thankfully our room was ready, so we ditched our suitcases and headed out in the city!

First, we walked to Regent Park and strolled around there for a while. It is such a pretty park! Then we headed to a place called Camden and there is a market there which was super neat. There was a bunch of different food vendors of all different types of food and then lots of little shops. I bought a phone case from one of the vendors that has an outline of the world map 🙂

Next, we took the tube to Covent Garden, walked around for a little bit and then went upstairs at a restaurant and had a bottle of wine while people watching from up above on a balcony! I bought a cute purse from a British company called “Cambridge Satchel Company” and then we quickly headed back to the hotel to drop off our stuff and then head to the main event of the day: the Ed Sheeran concert!!!

The concert was at Wembley park, and I had been here before 7 years prior for a football match so it was neat to be back & especially neat to be seeing Ed Sheeran perform on his first night out of four in London. The show was amazing & Ed did not disappoint!

Next, we took the tube back to our hotel and got some late night food & hit the hay.

Next up… another busy touristy day & BEYONCE AND JAY Z!!!
